旺角茶餐厅 @ Bugis Junction

Our recently hangout place at Bugis will be at this 旺角茶餐厅.

They have quite a number of choices to pick.

One of the most amazing and love about this resturant is their drinks. Most of their tea, they presented in this way so that even the ice melted, the concentration of the drink will not be affected!!! Love love love!!!!

I like the way how they put the egg on top of the Bolognese Pasta.

Panorama Regency Hotel & Nagoya Hill Mall

The room of the hotel..

The bed is super bed!!

After checking in, we took a cab to Nagoya Hill Mall even though its a walking distance to the mall. However, we felt safer to take a cab because of the traffic condition there. And since the cab fare was very cheap.

I guess i am missing A&W alot and whenever i go to Nagoya Hill Mall. I will definitely order a set.

Look at the Rootbeer float!! I am missing it again.

We spent our entire day at Nagoya Hill Mall. It was nice to walk around except i was quite annoyed when people were smoking in the shopping mall itself. The mall was quite big with supermarket, cinema, cafes, massage around. We even went to cinema and check out the price. And... We were quite surprised that the tickets were cheap.

As for dinner, we will always come to this resturant. This resturant is located in Nagoya Hill Mall along with others resturants.

The hotel's breakfast buffet...
They are quite decent.

We decided to have our lunch at the hotel before heading back to Singapore. Honestly, they are good. We love them so much.

Food For Thought Presents A LITTLE WHIMSICAL WEDDING SHOWCASE

We went to the wedding show held by Food For Thought at Singapore Botanic Gardens on 17 May 2014 and paid $38 for entry + goodies bag + sampler wedding dinner platter. The goodies bag comes with some complimentary item by different stall vendors during the show. The best thing here is all the guests would entitled a 10% discount for the confirmation of the event with Food For Thought. Since we have decided to hold our ROM with them, it was a good chance to get the discount.

They closed up one of the area to hold their event so that their business could carry on.
The wedding Sample Dinner Platter Menu.

The decoration was setup by MED KARLEK - https://www.facebook.com/mkarlek

I was quite amazed by the nice decoration on each table.

Here comes the Starters
- Creamy Mix Mushroom Soup Shooters with Butter Croutons (I like the soup particularly)
- Mini Spinach and cheese Quiches (Ron likes this)
- Honey Roasted Beetroot Salad with orange segement, Lychees and Raspberry Balsamic Vinaigrette

Mains and Sides
- Tarragon Roasted Chicken with Roasted Autumn Vegetables
- Lemon Dill Baked Salmon with spicy Aglio Olio Grilled Capsicum Orecchiette

Because Ron is on vegetarian diet for the whole month and i dont take beef so we requested them to give us beef. And in the end, they gave us more Orecchiette and Chicken. That was really very nice of them. We were so full after this and felt sorry that i couldnt finish the chicken.

Desserts
- Chantilly Cream Filled ButterScotch Profiteroles
- Chocolates Brownie Fudge Bites
- Caramel Banana Crumble Tarts

The desserts were equally good too.

Totally have no regrets coming to the show. -Smile-

Batam - KTM Resort @ Sekupang

We got a free night stay at KTM Resort and decided to extend our trip to 2 nights instead. On the first night we stayed at KTM Resort and on the second night we stayed one of the hotel in Nagoya.

We were quite happy and excited about the trip because we havent been out of Singapore for awhile.

Because KTM Resort is in Sekupang, so it would be more convenience to arrive at Sekupang Ferry Terminal.

Upon arrival, they arranged a mini bus to pick us. The resort was pretty near the Terminal. We arrived the resort about 10 mins later after they picked us up from the Terminal. Oh ya, we brought bb along.

Yes, the resort is sea facing and its quite a big area.

We were put to stay in one of these cottages.

Swimming Pool.

The cozy room that we stayed in. Everything was clean and neat. However, the room was abit small for us.

I was really excited when i see this type of structure and my excitement went up when i knew that the resort's resturant was inside and tomorrow i would be having breakfast there.

The resturant is on water with the over looking sea-view. Food was pretty decent. No complains.

Overall, we were not very bothered the fact that there wasnt any activities in the resort. And it was a whole new experience in KTM Resort. A resort that is closer to nature.

Bricks'N'Cubes Cafe

Spent the whole afternoon with Bang at Bricks'N'Cubes Cafe. In fact, we were thinking where should we go after our visit to the National Museum. So Bang suggested to eat ice-cream at The Cathey and i agreed.

The moment when Bang pointed to me the place we were going from far, in my mind was "do they sell ice-cream". Its seems like a shop that sell toys. Then i realised yes, its a cafe! The theme of the cafe is based on LEGO.

In fact, they sell cakes, waffles, coffee, ice-cream, pizza, pasta, sides (eg. Nuggets, Chicken Wings and more)

They have a small area for kids to build and play Lego. I think its a good place for  parents to bring their kids.

The whole place is decorated with figuring builded using Lego.

On every table, there is this ipad to take your orders. So there is no need to call the waiter/waitress for help. We ordered the Root Beer, however it doesnt taste that good as i thought. However, the rest of the item in the list were fine.

Pizza @ $10.90

We also ordered nuggets and BBQ  Chicken Wings. Those nuggets were awesome!!!
