Our Pre Wedding Photoshoot with idoidobali.com (IDO IDO BALI)

I have never dream of a overseas pre wedding shoot. When it was our turn, we took it in Bali.

I am really thankful that I found Ido Ido Bali that did our pre wedding shoot. I have to say that we had a enjoyable experience with Ido Ido Bali. They are very honest and flexible people. The most important is they listened to our requirements and there were no hidden charge. All the payment and what need to be paid stated clearly way before we pay the deposit. In fact, they did not give us any "surprise" which we were very thankful about. They did more than what they promised which impressed us the most.

Ido Ido Bali is a bridal shop in Bali. In fact, they are very close to the airport. It provides a one-stop service including professional prewedding photo tour, wedding candid photo shots, elegant decorations, bridal make-up and hairstyles, a large inventory of wedding gowns and groom suits, a wedding planner and exclusive album making.

The day before the shoot, we went down to the bridal shop to do our fitting. Then the next day, we went down to the bridal shop at 9am to start my makeup. Yes, they did the alteration of the gown within 1 day. In fact, you can bring your own gown for the photoshoot too.

In the mid of doing my makeup and hair

And we are good to go

The whole process was a enjoyable one. We had 2 photographers that did our shoot. One is the main photographer and the other one is the trainee. Not only that we have 2 makeup artists that followed us the whole day to change my hair, touch up my makeup and also changing my gown to the beach dress. From location to location, transport was provided.

Overall, we were very happy with their service and photography skill.

We took their package that priced at USD 1080 that included 2 gowns, 2 suits, all the raw and simple edited pictures (at least 200 copies).

Here are some of our favorite pictures:

Things to do in Bali - Kuta, Legian, Seminyak

1. Chilling out at the beach
Nothing beats better than just doing nothing and chilling out at the beach. The best thing here is going to the beach is free of charge. I love going to beach because it just give me the best time to slow down my pace and start observing the people around me. By the way, the sunset at Kuta Beach is beautiful.

2. Surfing
I have not tried surfing in Bali. However, Surfing is one of the attractions in Bali. I noticed that there are many people doing this activity. Just rent a surf board from the surf shop along the beach and you are good to go.

3. Shopping
Bali is a shopping heaven for beach wear. Whether you are in Kuta or Legian or even Seminyak, you will never failed to get something home. I did bought alot a few sun dresses home because they are really cheap and nice.

4. Massage/Cream Bath
Massage parlor is everywhere in Bali. Its not difficult to find one and their price are quite comparative. And yes, we went massage every single day when we were there. I did cream bath too which is a kind of hair treatment. Apparently, we can only get cream bath in Indonesian. I quite like it because my hair feel alot smoother after the session. Oh.. i am missing it again.

5. Waterbom

Waterbom is a Water Theme park in Bali, Kuta. Waterbom is rated as the top Water Theme park in Asia.
If you love water theme park, this is the right place for you. Its also a perfect place to spend a whole day there. Check out their webby: http://waterbom-bali.com/

My stay experience with Swiss Belinn Legian

Given the fact its a 3 Stars Hotel, i have to say that i had a great time staying in Swiss Belinn Legian. The location is great. Its a 5 to 7 mins walk to the Legian beach and also right outside the hotel, about 3 shops away, there is a massage parlor that we visited almost everyday when we were there. Food is not an issue at all. There are many restaurants around the hotel and  there is also Warung that we visited almost everyday. Food is nice and great. We went to Brisbane Tailor to tailor shirts which is 10 min walks from the hotel.

Welcome drinks - I think its pretty nice. We were so hungry that we finished our the chips.

Well done. Totally look like what i am expecting. Very nice. The bed was clean.

This is the outdoor dining area where we had our meals.

Simple and nice water decor

A very simple bathroom without bathtub. Love the black and grey setting. It gives a very modern look.

Bali Island Horse & ATV

Ron and I have been wanting to try the ATV. It was just so happened when we were in Bali, we got to know Bali Island Horse & ATV through the driver agency and decided to give it a go. We signed up 2 hours of ATV with them that started at 10.30am. In fact, they have others activities like horse riding and etc. For more information can visit their site as follows www.baliislandhorse.com.

Because we were staying in Legian, the driver came and picked us at 9am. According to the driver, the trip from Legian to the Yeh Gangga Beach will takes about 1.5hours. When we arrived, we were greeted by the smiley people there. All the staff there were so friendly and happy to welcome us which makes us feel happy early in the morning.

We were asked to go this waiting area for our activity to be start. Before we starts, we were asked to read some safety procedure. After which we were asked to put on our helmet and safety guards. And some simple instruction on how operate the vehicle.

And there we go... Less than 50 meters, we entered into the Yeh Gangga Beach!! Wohooo.

We have a personal guide who led us around and we can stop anytime to rest or take pictures. And the nicest thing is they provided water during the trip tooo.

The beach and the padi field. I love this view.

The rocky track that we went through.

Our ATV lasted about 2 hours plus and we were back for our mini refreshment which comes with a drink and 3 hotdogs! I know there are other ATV tour agency that provide lunch buffet. But honestly, i think that wasnt something that bug us. Because we were happy with what we got and it was enough. Besides the hotdogs tasted quite nice and we actually were full by then.

Overall, we were very happy with the whole experience and would want to come back again!!!
