Bricks'N'Cubes Cafe

Spent the whole afternoon with Bang at Bricks'N'Cubes Cafe. In fact, we were thinking where should we go after our visit to the National Museum. So Bang suggested to eat ice-cream at The Cathey and i agreed.

The moment when Bang pointed to me the place we were going from far, in my mind was "do they sell ice-cream". Its seems like a shop that sell toys. Then i realised yes, its a cafe! The theme of the cafe is based on LEGO.

In fact, they sell cakes, waffles, coffee, ice-cream, pizza, pasta, sides (eg. Nuggets, Chicken Wings and more)

They have a small area for kids to build and play Lego. I think its a good place for  parents to bring their kids. 

The whole place is decorated with figuring builded using Lego.

On every table, there is this ipad to take your orders. So there is no need to call the waiter/waitress for help. We ordered the Root Beer, however it doesnt taste that good as i thought. However, the rest of the item in the list were fine.

We also ordered nuggets and BBQ  Chicken Wings. Those nuggets were awesome!!!

The first time i saw this video, my impression was impressive.



I started to have interest in her. And i found this... And goes speechless. Totally love the way how she repackage this song.

 

Chat Masala @ Upper East Coast Road

Ron was craving for indian food. And he told me that he would like to give a try on Chat Masala because 10 years ago when he was a student he used to passby this resturant and has been wanting to try it.

And here we are.. FOR HOT FOOD & SPICY GOSSIP

I am a fan of Naan. So Ron ordered Cheese Naan, Butter Naan, Garlic Naan to try. And know what, its really good!!

I really love the food here. Its so rare for Ron to said he wants to come back again and i said okay! Hehe.

I love this setup.

Its a pretty cozy place. 

Avocado Eggs Benedict @ $15. On top of that we ordered additional pork sausage @ $3.

Nutella Tart @ $7 - I actually like this alot.

Hummingbird Cake @ $7

Overall, the food is good. No GST. No service charge. Payment only in NETS or Cash.

Our First Photoshoot with Firefly Photography

Did our ever first photoshoot together at 1st weekend of Dec 2013 at Hort Park.

It was pretty werid when the photographer ask us to pose and kiss. It was abit not natural. However, the pictures turn out to be wow wow wow. Unlimited shoot for 1.5hrs for less than $100, i think its quite worth it.

Our wedding banquet will be at Concorde Hotel's ballroom

Oh yes, we have decided to hold our chinese wedding banquet at Concorde Hotel. Yesterday we went down to pay our deposit ($3K) with our Catering Manager, Zaiton Seah.  I have to say that Zaiton has been very nice and accommodating with my request here and there.
 

This photo is taken using my iphone5 camera. Its a square ballroom thats pillarless and also it can fit up to 40 tables. For our menu, it will be a 9 course dinner inclusive of a dessert buffet. Ron was very pleased with the fact that they do provide dessert buffet as part of their package.  

So far, we are quite happy with their service. We hope that we will carry on getting good service from them. 

Ron's Birthday Trip - Day 2 @ Bintan Lagoon Resort

We woke up at 7am (Indonesia time) to have our breakfast. I am so happy to have someone who loves breakfast as much as I do.

 They actually have a counter for eggs. So i ordered omelette egg with cheese.

Managed to took while having our breakfast. It was really beautiful.

We took a drip before heading for our lunch at Rice(Beach restaurant).

Took a few pictures before saying good bye.

oh ya, i realised that Bintan Lagoon Resort has their own terminal in the resort itself. Its sound pretty cool. Cant wait to come back here and try it. :)

Ron's Birthday Trip - Day 1 @ Bintan Lagoon Resort

After much of brainstorming of different places for getaway, finally i decided to bring him to a place that he hasnt been - Bintan. 

Because it was his birthday celebration cum getaway therefore i think that Bintan Lagoon Resort would be a better choice.

We reached there about 12 noon but we can only check in at 3pm. The staff there recommended us to Pasar Ole Ole which is a 15 minutes drive from the resort while waiting to check in. So we ended up going there.

Yes, we did my gelish manicure and his massage (2 hours) for 80sgd in total and they provided us a free transport back which we thought was a good deal. And Ron commented that this guy was very good. However, my manicure cracked after 1 day. I was really disappointed even though it is 30 sgd.

I'm always very excited about the hotel's room. Without any disappointment, the room was clean and nice. And of course, Ron's fav-- bathtub!

For dinner, we went to Orzo Restaurant. I had salmon and Ron had lamb. Seriously, they served very good food, especially the lamb. Their lamb was just right, not very tough! Honestly i am missing it already.
